Preparing to make the Pilgrimage

From September 7 - 22, Dr. Jim Jackson will lead a group from Chapelwood UMC in the footsteps of Paul's second and third missionary journeys. Along the way, the group will have the chance to visit historic places in Greece and Turkey and gain new insights into setting of the early church. Believers were often called followers of "The Way" and first called Christians at Antioch. We are excited to see how our unique journeys with Jesus will intersect with believers in Athens, Corinth, Thessalonica, Philippi and Ephesus during the time of Paul.

Each day, there will be a post to indicate where the group will be for the day and some of the readings that we will be trying to digest. When we have time and internet access, we will post pictures and reflections.
