Ephesus did not disappoint! We spent most of the day in the ancient city, perhaps the most preserved ancient city in Asia. Below are pics. As you can see the city streets are in tact and we even toured seven homes of aristocrats. The pictures speak for themselves.
The last two pictures were taken at the site where Mary the mother of Jesus was believed to die. Jesus gave Mary to John while he was on the cross and John was lead to come here near Ephesus. Some of the group finished the day at a Turkish rug demonstration.
